These counterbores are custom made for us by one of the top tooling manufacturers in the USA.
These are a 3-flute, interchangeable pilot carbide tipped counterbores, built to work with our titanium screws and caged bearings. Depending on the counterbore size, they will accept pilots with either a 3/32″ or 1/8″ shank. Pilots must be purchased separately using a 3/32″ shank pilot for everything .375 and smaller and a 1/8″ shank pilot for our .423 and .500 sizes.

- Tool diameter tolerance: +.001″/-.000″.
- Shank diameter tolerance: +.0000″/-.0005″.
- Corner radius: 1/64″.

Carbide tooling is very strong and works extremely well on titanium but, if not used properly, it is prone to breaking due to its fragility.
