Description
These Optic Screws are designed to hold your Aimpoint Acro adapter plate to a S&W M&P slide.
They are threaded 6-32, have a 82 degree head angle, a .268″ head diameter and a .235″ overall length.
We have also designed the screw heads to be taller, by adding a slight shoulder and a slight domed top. This allows us to maintain a propper drive depth. This makes the scew stronger than a standard flathead screw, while adding a pleasing aesthetic to the installed screws.
Our Titanium pistol optic screws are made to fit MOST standard size factory and aftermarket adapter plates with up to a .10″0 thickness. HOWEVER, Always check the clearances, to ensure the screws don’t protrude and interfere with the function of your firearm..
Our screws have a machined in six lug drive. They accept a standard T-10 size driver.
Our optic screws are 100% machined by us in Montana, and are made from Aerospace quality and certified USA manufactured Grade 5 (6AL4V) titanium.
Note: We recommend the use of 1-2 drops of Med thread locker, a quality driver and screws be tightened to 12-15 INCH pounds, using a quality torque wrench. *We use, sell and recommend Vibra-Tite*
