THESE ARE REAMED .1695 AND WILL ONLY FIT A #8 TAP
These are interchangeable with the shaft assembly that came with your BenchTapper. They are intended as an extra option, if you want to use a #8 tap.. These will only fit a #8 tap. If you are using a #6 or smaller tap, you will want to use our standard tapping shaft, that is the same as the one that came with your BenchTapper.
These will store in the extra hole in the body of your BenchTapper…
We machine the turning knob, from billet aluminum, and the tapping shaft from 303 stainless. This shaft is reamed to accept a #8 tap.
These are the tapping shaft assembly only. They do not come with a BenchTapper body!!!!!
