We had these counterbores custom made for us by one of the top tooling manufacturers here in the USA.
These are a 3-flute, interchangeable pilot carbide tipped counterbore. They are built to work with our titanium screws and caged bearings. They will accept pilots with either a 3/32″ or 1/8″ shank depending on counterbore size. Pilots must be purchased separately.
You will need a 3/32″ shank pilot for everything .375 and under.. You will need a 1/8″ shank pilot for our .423 and .500 sizes…
Carbide tips brazed to alloy steel bodies. Polished flutes. Tool diameter tolerance: +.001″/-.000″.
Shank diameter tolerance: +.0000″/-.0005″.
Corner radius: 1/64″.

We have no control over how you as the consumer use these tools. We are NOT responsible for damage you cause to these tools during your learning curve using them. Carbide tooling is very strong and works extremely well on titanium. It is also very fragile and prone to breaking if not used properly.
