PLEASE READ: As firearms manufacturers make changes in production, optic mounting screws/plate screws often change. BEFORE YOU PURCHASE OPTIC SCREWS, pay attention to the following:
- The exact dimensions of our screws are listed below. If you are uncertain about fitment on your personal firearm, it is your responsibility to determine if our screws meet your needs. We do not know the specifications of optic screws used by every type/model/brand of handgun.
- Optic screw sales are final. Measure first – then order.
Designed to hold the Dawson-style Staccato adapter plate to the slide.
Our screws are machined in our shop in Montana using Aerospace quality and certified USA manufactured Grade 5 (6AL4V) titanium and have a machined six lug drive that accepts a standard T-10 torx driver.
The set includes 3 screws – (2) threaded M4x.7 with a .270″ diameter short socket head and a .265″ overall length. The 3rd screw is threaded 8-32 with a.265″ diameter short socket head and a .340″ overall length. When installing, one or two drops of medium thread locker and a quality torque wrench are recommended. We use, recommend, and sell Vibra-Tite.
These optic screws are made to fit MOST standard size factory and aftermarket adapter plates. HOWEVER, always check the clearances, to ensure the screws don’t protrude and interfere with the function of your firearm.
