These are interchangeable with the shaft assembly that came with your BenchTapper. They are intended as an extra option, if you don’t want to take the time to change out tap sizes.

We machine the turning knob, from billet aluminum, and the tapping shaft from 303 stainless. The shaft is reamed to accept a tap with a 9/64 shank. We use OSG taps and they all have 7/64 shanks from #00 thru #6. The tap is held in place with 2- set screws so that you can easily change out from one size tap to another…
These are the tapping shaft assembly only. They do not come with a BenchTapper body!!!!!
